Under the ownership of the Schütt family since 1978, the hotel has been managed with extensive dedication and hospitality. The 4-star hotel has that special something as a result not only of the numerous refurbishment measures and tailored extensions to the house, but also due to a love of the industry and an associated geniality towards each individual guest. Now under the guidance of the 2nd generation, the hotel continues to be managed in the same style, with charm and ambience.
The style of the house is characterised by the light but strong colours of the rooms, the metre high ceilings and plenty of natural light allowed in by large windows, which provide the guest with a fabulous view of the old Roman town. Modern furnishing accessories in combination with original Jugendstil pieces unite together in harmony.
In summer temperatures the spacious roof terrace invites one to relax awhile. The view stretches from the imperial baths and palace gardens to the Constantine Basilica and the cathedral, with a far-reaching panorama of the neighbouring vineyard slopes on the banks of the Mosel.
